This foundational diversity, equity, and inclusion training is for individuals, teams, and organizations seeking a shared DEI understanding and vocabulary to ensure alignment and to support behaviors, actions, and initiatives that are reflective of a commitment to DEI.
In lesson 1, participants will be guided through 7 key DEI terms (diversity, equity, inclusion, equality, belonging, racism, microaggression) by way of a practical extended example, provided with a convenient one-sheet reference guide, and led through a series of practice questions. This lesson culminates in a comprehensive interactive activity that solidifies understanding of all 7 terms.
In lesson 2, participants will be guided to a deeper understanding of diversity—what it really is and how off-track initiative can go when we don’t get it right. [2 Lessons; Course Duration ~ 1 hour]
